Also, as other reviewers said way too much public display of affection, kissing, etc. which is unnecessary -- most Westerners don't behave this way and are decent, contrary to the stereotypical portrayal and misassumptions. Times have changed and the nonsensical "humor" has got to stop and evolve! Come on, Bollywood! Ranvir's character was at times very irritating due to these reasons. It's one thing to be immature and another to be "douchey". OTOH, the actress is amazing! Even I was fooled that maybe she was of mixed ethnicity in real life! But there is something missing in the film big time. The amount of times "dharm paa jee" allusion is done one too many times. With the past and present, I got lost as to why they broke up after a year. Way too much sex and kissing for a hindi film. I didn't feel the connection between Vaani and Ranveer. One song stuck out, others were pretty much a blur. Did Aditya Chopra really direct this or did he outsource it to someone? His movies have so much soul and emotions. Didn't feel them at all with this movie. Oh and showing Ranveer's but-naked scene, was way too much. I had to rewind to confirm what I just saw LOL.
